Emily Brown, NP

Emily Brown, CFNP, is a nurse practitioner practicing in our Starkville office. She joined P&S in 2024.

I am thrilled to be part of the Physicians and Surgeons group and to serve our community as a provider.
I received my BSN from the University of Arkansas in 2007 and worked in various perioperative settings. I then chose to obtain my long-term goal and received my MSN from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2020. I am board-certified through the AANPCB. With my family nurse practitioner certification, I am able to compassionately provide care to patients of all ages. I am passionate about providing the best care to each of my patients while building a trusting relationship. Medicine is ever changing which challenges me to stay on top of new clinical information to ensure that every patient has the best opportunity for health improvement.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Matt, and two wonderful sons, Beckett and Bennett. My hobbies include, running, traveling, gardening, cooking, and most recently playing pickleball. We enjoy going to Mississippi State baseball and softball games.
