Physicians & Surgeons now offers patients access to their favorite doctors and nurse practitioners without having to leave home. Telehealth appointments, or video visits, are now available for all P&S physicians.
How Do Video Visits Work?
Using a smartphone or computer with a camera, you and your provider discuss your health concerns virtually. Your doctor will counsel you on any questions you have and may recommend a treatment plan or prescribe mediations.
What kind of appointments can be seen?
Many appointments can be seen using a video-visit rather than an in-person visit. Some of them include:
- mental health reviews
- lab follow-ups
- medication adjustments
- pediatric developmental follow-ups
- rashes
- wellness visits (without immunizations)
- Most follow up visits for pediatrics and internal medicine
- OB routine visits (without labs), post-partum and post-op, medication reviews, and lab follow-ups.
