Tacy Grant, FNP-C

Tacy Grant, CFNP, is a nurse practitioner seeing OB/GYN and primary care patients in our Amory, and Columbus offices. She joined P&S as a nurse in 2016 and as an NP in 2019.

Tacy has wanted to be in healthcare for as long as she can remember. She spent many hours shadowing nurses and physicians before deciding to go into nursing. She was a nurse for 7 years before deciding to pursue her NP degree.

“Having a desire to take on responsibility and provide high-quality, compassionate care led me to my career as a nurse practitioner.”

Tacy takes pride in her background as a nurse, helping patients perform basic activities that most take for granted and learning to manage different diseases. She uses that experience to provide care for the whole patient.

“I’m more than just an NP. I am a daughter, wife, mother, and Christian. I know first-hand some of the struggles you may have keeping your own health a top priority, as well as any anxiety you may feel about coming to the clinic. I will treat you just as I would want myself or my family treated.”

Tacy’s main desire is for her patients to have healthy habits to prevent disease, so her true passion is in annual check-ups and preventative medicine. She focuses on regular screening and healthy lifestyle in addition to managing chronic illness.

At home with her husband, Shayne, and their two sons, Tacy enjoys crafting. She also enjoys traveling. Her husband dirt track races, so you can sometimes find her in the passenger seat, holding on for dear life.
